About Online Networking Discussion

HUD's Neighborhood Networks is helping bridge the "Digital Divide," with computer training, Internet access, job-readiness support, GED certification, healthcare, social services, and adult and youth education. Neighborhood Networks centers are expanding employment opportunities and access to health and wellness, improving kids’ educational performance, empowering residents, increasing participation by business and community partners, and decreasing dependency on federal funding.

The introduction of “Online Networking” shows HUD's commitment to help all Neighborhood Networks centers grow stronger and become more successful. Centers are now able to go online and participate in monthly discussions with ongoing questions and answers. Centers are also able to share information and experiences. They will also have the opportunity to access other useful information that benefits their center, and can submit technical assistance requests online.
