Since they were first established, successful Neighborhood Networks centers have placed a high value on resident involvement in their programs and activities. This remains true as the network of centers continues to expand. Centers with residents who are involved from the beginning report greater success than centers without actively involved residents. One indication of this success is the number of residents using and benefiting from the center.  Successfully involving residents in center programs, however, remains a problem for many new and existing centers.  One way to involve residents with a center is through an active resident association.
