    Comprehensive Grantwriting Session
During the two-day Comprehensive Grantwriting pre-conference session, participants will learn strategies and techniques for writing award-winning grants from a proven grantwriting expert. The session will discuss all aspects of the grantwriting cycle, from identifying potential funding sources to submitting a complete proposal. Future funding opportunities available from HUD will also be discussed.

Upon completion of this session, participants will not only possess the skills necessary to secure funding, but also the confidence to apply for much-needed resources in today's competitive grantseeking market. A copy of Mim Carlson's Winning Grants: Step by Step will be distributed to each participant. This useful workbook walks users through a series of exercises to create a fully developed grant proposal, and will be a valuable resource and reference guide long after the session ends.
Workshop attendees representing Neighborhood Networks centers located in HUD Federal Housing Administration (FHA)–insured and/or –assisted housing properties will receive registration priority for this pre-conference session that is limited to 40 participants. Participants are required to attend both full days of the session. To reserve a place, participants should call Paloma Costa via the Neighborhood Networks Information Center toll-free at (888) 312–2743.

Roundtables for New Neighborhood Networks Centers and Centers Receiving Technical Assistance
New Neighborhood Networks centers and centers that are receiving onsite technical assistance are invited to join Neighborhood Networks staff to discuss challenges they face, share strategies designed to develop and maintain center operations, and learn about resources available to facilitate center sustainability and success during these informative pre-conference sessions.
